Step 1 

In the File pull down menu click Open. 

 Step 2 

To find a file on the CD-ROM click the arrow as indicated until you navigate to the D drive or CD-ROM drive.

 Step 3 

As you click the D drive it will change the name of the disk found there, to the name of your CD-ROM.  

PDF documents usually have the extension .pdf.  Choose the required document’s filename from the list.

 Step 4 

As you use the files on the CD the File menu will list the four PDF documents you last opened.  To open a file you can click on the required listed file.
